Laura Ling and Euna Lee
There is a website for Laura and Euna up and running now. I can’t explain why I’m feeling so passionately for these two women and their circumstance. Perhaps it’s because I wish I would have just a bit of their courage to have gone to such a dangerous country in the first place. Their selflessness in order to share the story of the plight of women and children being trafficked from their homes is something we all should aspire to. Selflessness in our world today is rare to find. Laura and Euna make me want to be more of what I can be. They make me want to reach out and take a stand for somebody who maybe can’t stand for themselves. Maybe it’s for Laura and Euna? I know that I will do my part in writing letters, sending them post cards and doing all that I can do. It’s the least I can do from the comfort and safety of my own home.
